Donation Ceremony

On July 17, 2020 (Friday), a donation ceremony related to the SDGs was held at the Nachikatsuura Town Hall in Nachikatsuura, Wakayama Prefecture.

We received comprehensive consulting from The Daisan Bank, Ltd. regarding our CSR activities and efforts to achieve the SDGs. As part of our efforts, we donated 150 emergency blankets to Nachikatsuura Town, under the joint names of our company and The Daisan Bank, Ltd.

In recent years, there have been disasters caused by heavy rain and typhoons nearly every year. Nachikatsuura Town, located on the coast, has a high possibility of water damage, including potential tsunamis. We hope that the donated items will be helpful in case of an emergency.

Daiwatech is committed to continuing CSR activities and working towards achieving the SDGs to actively contribute to society.

Message from Tadashi Oka, Daiwatech President

Recently, disasters often described as “once-in-a-century” have been happening yearly. Our company specializes in creating products that primarily use natural energy. In addition, we provide solar power houses to disaster areas and evacuation sites. This donation resulted from our previous disaster support agreement with Nachikatsuura Town.
While ideally, it would be best to have no disasters at all, if an unforeseen event does occur, we hope that the items we have donated today will be put to good use.
