Report on Ground-breaking Ceremony
We recently held a ground-breaking ceremony to officially commence the construction of our new factory.This facility will serve as a production base for Daiwatech in Tsushima City, Aichi Prefecture.We held a ground-breaking ceremony on July 12th, 2023, to mark the occasion. The factory is scheduled for completion in March 2024. -

・Daiwatech received the Special Award at the 56th Good Company Awards in 2022. We participated in the ceremony held on February 1, 2023 (Wednesday).The Good Company Awards are an annual event that aims to discover and honor economically and socially outstanding small and medium-sized companies from across the country. On the day of the ceremony, we joined the 16 companies selected for a valuable experience. Nagoya City Disaster Response Agreement
・Conclusion of a “Disaster Response Agreement” between Nagoya City and Daiwatech Co., Ltd.On Friday, June 9, 2023, we signed an agreement with Nagoya City regarding the rental of equipment and materials in the event of a disaster. Nagoya City Mayor Takashi Kawamura and Nagoya City Councilor Koichi Sawada attended the signing ceremony. During the event, we had the opportunity to explain our initiatives and business activities related to disaster response. This agreement with Nagoya City marks our 63rd agreement. -

・Daiwatech was awarded the Excellence Award in the Regional Division at the 2023 Japan Construction Machinery and Construction Association Awards. The Japan Construction Machinery and Construction Association Award (previously known as the Chairman’s Award) was established to honor achievements that have significantly contributed to enhancing and disseminating construction machinery and related technologies through research, technical development, and practical application. The award aims to contribute to the use, development, and conservation of national land, as well as to support the growth of the economy and industry. We exhibited “Kutsurogi” and our “solar power house” at the Construction & Surveying Productivity Improvement Expo (CSPI EXPO) held at Makuhari Messe from May 24 (Wed) to 26 (Fri), 2023. We would like to thank everyone who attended the event, which was a great success, with 44,678 visitors over the three days. —Construction & Survey Productivity Improvement EXPO (CSPI EXPO)— CSPI EXPO is one of Japan’s largest specialized exhibitions in construction and surveying industries. It provides valuable information to help address the challenges and risks faced by the industry and individual companies. The event was held for the fifth time in 2023. -

On Sunday, May 21, 2023, the Daiwatech booth showcased the exhibits “Yasuragi” and “Kutsurogi” at the Kiso Three Rivers Joint Comprehensive Flood Prevention Exercise. This event took place at the Kiso Three Rivers Park Tokai Square West Area (Aisai City, Aichi Prefecture).We want to thank everyone who visited us amid the hot weather. -

Exhibited at a BCP training session for elderly care facilities in zero-meter elevation zones
The training session was organized by Aichi Medical University’s Center for Disaster Medical Sciences and was held on March 14 (Tue), 2023 at the Higashi Betsuin Kaikan (in Naka Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture). The training session included lectures on the types of responses and business continuity plans (BCPs) that are necessary for elderly care facilities located at sea level. These discussions focused on preparedness for large-scale disasters, such as the Nankai Trough earthquake or the Ise Bay typhoon. We demonstrated and exhibited our solar power house and D+CUBE series of field surveillance cameras at the venue, while presenting our phase-free disaster prevention initiatives at our booth.
