Selection as a recognized utilization promotion technology grants the right to use the designation “2024 Utilization Promotion Technology” and provides the following incentives:
・The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), Regional Development Bureaus, and other agencies will actively promote the use of this technology.
・If a bidder includes a designated technology in their technical proposal under the comprehensive evaluation method, that proposal will receive a higher evaluation compared to other technologies submitted.
・If the construction work is contracted, this technology will also earn additional points in the construction performance evaluation compared to other technologies proposed. Importantly, the extra points awarded in the construction performance evaluation will be granted even if the proposal is submitted after the construction contract has been awarded, regardless of whether it is part of a technical proposal under the comprehensive evaluation method.
