We exhibited our Solar House at the multifunctional disaster‑prevention community hub Friends.For the first time, we enabled a Snoezelen experience inside the Solar House using its internal power system.Many children participated on the day of the event, and some enjoyed it so much that they came back repeatedly.This experience reminded us of the importance of providing spaces where children can relax and momentarily forget the hardships they may face during disasters.What is Snoezelen?Snoezelen is a sensory‑stimulation environment that uses light, sound, and fragrance.In a darkened space illuminated by blacklight, participants can relax in a gentle, dreamlike atmosphere.It is widely used in dementia care and developmental support.https://www.snoezelen.jp/snoezelen -

I participated in the FY2025 (Reiwa 7) Kinki Block Joint Training of the Emergency Fire Response Teams.
Based on the Disaster Countermeasures Basic Act, the Fire Organization Act, and other related regulations, a joint training exercise was conducted with disaster‑related organizations and affiliated groups from within the prefecture and the Kinki region.The purpose of the exercise was to strengthen coordination among agencies during large‑scale disasters, enhance wide‑area mutual support systems, and raise disaster‑prevention awareness among residents.At Daiwatec, we exhibited the Kutsurogi unit, and our ultra‑water‑saving toilet Sazanami was used on-site as the actual toilet facility for the firefighting training area.Date: October 25–26, Reiwa 7 (2025) -

We participated in the 2025 Hiroshima Prefecture and Miyoshi City Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill.
At the training site in Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Yamamoto‑gumi, a local construction company, transported, installed, and showcased our Solar House as part of a live operational drill. The unit is normally used as a rest facility at their nearby construction site in Mirasaka‑chō, Miyoshi City.In addition, our vehicle‑mounted ultra‑water‑saving flush toilet “Sazanami” was also transported, installed, and exhibited from our company yard.We provided detailed explanations of our phase‑free product scheme to members of the general public, as well as representatives from Hiroshima Prefecture, Miyoshi City, the Regional Development Bureau, the Self‑Defense Forces, and the Fire Department. -

We held a gathering to pass on the story of the Tokai Heavy Rain with an exhibition titled “Relaxation with Maiyume.”

On Sunday, May 25th, we exhibited the solar system house “Kutsurogi” with a toilet and the solar bio-toilet “Yasuragi” at the Omono River Comprehensive Flood Control Exercise in Akita Prefecture.The event commenced with addresses by the Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the Governor of Akita Prefecture. To raise disaster prevention awareness among residents of the city, prefecture, and surrounding areas, an event was organized to focus on training for a potential large-scale earthquake centered in the Suzuka-Toen Fault Zone. This event addressed key issues highlighted by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, including the readiness of the Emergency Firefighting Assistance Team, improvements in the operational techniques of each unit, and the strengthening of collaborative efforts with the Self-Defense Forces. We participated in the PHILCONSTRUCT exhibition, held at the MSX Convention Center in Manila from November 7 to 10, 2024. The event showcased construction machinery, building materials, as well as interior and exterior products, attracting industry experts and stakeholders. Approximately 800 exhibitors and over 80,000 visitors participated, creating an excellent opportunity for networking and the introduction of the latest technologies. Solar power toilets provided to Minato Ring 2024
On July 20 and 21, 2024, Daiwatech provided our solar power houses with toilets, “Kutsurogi” and “Yasuragi–WATUS,” at Minato Ring 2024, which took place in Kosai City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Various activities were held, including a boating event, as well as disaster prevention and disaster relief drills. Many portable toilets are unsuitable for use in the hot July sun, but our solar power houses with toilets, “Kutsurogi” and “Yasuragi”, operated efficiently. Exhibited at a BCP training session for elderly care facilities in zero-meter elevation zones
The training session was organized by Aichi Medical University’s Center for Disaster Medical Sciences and was held on March 14 (Tue), 2023 at the Higashi Betsuin Kaikan (in Naka Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture). The training session included lectures on the types of responses and business continuity plans (BCPs) that are necessary for elderly care facilities located at sea level. These discussions focused on preparedness for large-scale disasters, such as the Nankai Trough earthquake or the Ise Bay typhoon. We demonstrated and exhibited our solar power house and D+CUBE series of field surveillance cameras at the venue, while presenting our phase-free disaster prevention initiatives at our booth. -
