Sapporo City and Daiwatech Co., Ltd. have signed a “Disaster Response Agreement” utilizing “Hokuhoku Business Matching.” This system, promoted in collaboration with The Hokkaido Bank and The Hokuriku Bank, aims to utilize regional information to find solutions for customers of both banks.
The signing of this agreement is expected to contribute to increasing safety and disaster management and preparation in the region.

- History
The Hokkaido Bank and Hokuriku Bank, in collaboration as part of the Hokuhoku Financial Group, introduced Daiwatech Co., Ltd. to Sapporo City. Daiwatech has disaster response agreements with 45 municipalities within and outside of Hokkaido. Sapporo City already has several collaborative agreements, including an “Agreement on Mutual Cooperation in the Event of a Major Disaster” with The Hokkaido Bank. After discussions between Sapporo City and Daiwatech, they successfully concluded this new collaborative agreement.
This marks the second collaborative agreement established through an introduction by the Hokuhoku Financial Group, following one with Memuro Town.
2. Details of agreement
In the event of a disaster or emergency, Daiwatech Co., Ltd. will prioritize providing rental equipment and materials, such as solar power houses, to the city of Sapporo.
