We exhibited our Solar House at the multifunctional disaster‑prevention community hub Friends.For the first time, we enabled a Snoezelen experience inside the Solar House using its internal power system.Many children participated on the day of the event, and some enjoyed it so much that they came back repeatedly.This experience reminded us of the importance of providing spaces where children can relax and momentarily forget the hardships they may face during disasters.What is Snoezelen?Snoezelen is a sensory‑stimulation environment that uses light, sound, and fragrance.In a darkened space illuminated by blacklight, participants can relax in a gentle, dreamlike atmosphere.It is widely used in dementia care and developmental support.https://www.snoezelen.jp/snoezelen

Based on the Disaster Countermeasures Basic Act, the Fire Organization Act, and other related regulations, a joint training exercise was conducted with disaster‑related organizations and affiliated groups from within the prefecture and the Kinki region.The purpose of the exercise was to strengthen coordination among agencies during large‑scale disasters, enhance wide‑area mutual support systems, and raise disaster‑prevention awareness among residents.At Daiwatec, we exhibited the Kutsurogi unit, and our ultra‑water‑saving toilet Sazanami was used on-site as the actual toilet facility for the firefighting training area.Date: October 25–26, Reiwa 7 (2025)

We exhibited our Solar House “Kutsurogi” equipped with a comfortable toilet and digital signage, as well as our ultra‑water‑saving solar‑powered toilet “Sazanami.”The digital signage displayed initiatives from construction companies at their job sites, along with our YouTube presentation created for the exhibition. At the training site in Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Yamamoto‑gumi, a local construction company, transported, installed, and showcased our Solar House as part of a live operational drill. The unit is normally used as a rest facility at their nearby construction site in Mirasaka‑chō, Miyoshi City.In addition, our vehicle‑mounted ultra‑water‑saving flush toilet “Sazanami” was also transported, installed, and exhibited from our company yard.We provided detailed explanations of our phase‑free product scheme to members of the general public, as well as representatives from Hiroshima Prefecture, Miyoshi City, the Regional Development Bureau, the Self‑Defense Forces, and the Fire Department.

The 2025 Gero City Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill was held.On the day, disaster relief support organizations, voluntary disaster prevention groups, and citizens participated, and we were impressed by their high level of everyday disaster preparedness awareness.Daiwa Tech unloaded and set up a solar house with a toilet from a truck at the start of the drill, demonstrating its capability to supply electricity in a short time.Date: Sunday, September 7, 2025Location: Gero City, Gifu Prefecture

On Sunday, May 25th, we exhibited the solar system house “Kutsurogi” with a toilet and the solar bio-toilet “Yasuragi” at the Omono River Comprehensive Flood Control Exercise in Akita Prefecture.The event commenced with addresses by the Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the Governor of Akita Prefecture. We participated in the Kiso Three Rivers Joint Comprehensive Flood Control Exercise.We showcased Daiwa Tech’s products and our disaster support collaboration with construction companies to numerous administrative officials, including locally elected Diet members and police representatives. We projected images from the concurrently held Omono River Comprehensive Flood Control Exercise in Akita Prefecture onto signage, explaining the benefits of Daiwa Tech’s wide-area coverage.

We participated in a flood control drill held on the riverbank in Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture. We exhibited our “Kutsurogi” solar system house with signage and toilet facilities. We introduced our disaster support initiatives in collaboration with construction companies, efforts to enhance regional disaster prevention capabilities, and our carbon-free and phase-free products to Deputy Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Furukawa, officials from the Development Bureau and local governments, and members of the public.
